Real Projects, Real Skills
You'll work on actual game level projects throughout the program. No theoretical exercises – every assignment mirrors what professional level designers create for shipping games.
- Design complete levels from concept to implementation
- Master industry-standard tools like Unity and Blender
- Learn optimization techniques for mobile and console
- Build portfolio pieces that impress employers
- Get feedback from working professionals
Our students have created levels for action games, puzzle platformers, and VR experiences. By graduation, you'll have 3-5 polished levels showcasing different design approaches.
Why Our Approach Works
Small Groups, Big Results
We cap each cohort at 12 students. This isn't about exclusivity – it's about giving everyone the attention they need to succeed. You'll get personalized feedback on every project and direct access to instructors during lab sessions.
Most online courses dump hundreds of students into forums and hope for the best. We do the opposite. Every student gets individual project reviews and career guidance tailored to their goals.
"The portfolio projects I built during the program got me interviews at three different studios. Having actual game levels to show made all the difference."
– Elena Kowalski, Class of 2024Industry Connection
Our instructors work at active game studios in Taiwan and internationally. They bring current industry practices into every lesson and help students understand what employers actually want to see.
We also host monthly virtual meetups where students can ask questions to guest speakers from companies like XPEC Entertainment and Rayark. These connections often lead to internship opportunities and job referrals.
"The networking opportunities were just as valuable as the technical training. I met my current team lead through one of the program's industry events."
– Sarah Chen, Class of 2024Beyond the Classroom
Learning doesn't stop when class ends. Students get access to our private Discord community where they share work-in-progress, troubleshoot technical issues, and celebrate project completions together.
We've seen amazing collaborations emerge from these informal connections. Students from different cohorts team up on game jam projects and even start indie studios together.
